How to add more Notebooks?
Press the "+" button present at the top-right of the Notebooks shelf.
Can I edit the already created Notebook? If yes, How?
Yes. Long press on any Notebook to get the edit option.
Can I delete a Notebook? If yes, How?
Yes. Long press on a Notebook to get the delete option.
Can I export the complete Notebook to a PDF? If yes, How?
Yes. Long press on any Notebook to get the option to export to PDF.
Can I set the password for the application? If yes, How?
Yes. Password option is available at the Menu of the Notebooks shelf screen .
Can I set password for individual Notebook?
No.
Can I Back-up/Restore the Notebooks
Yes.
Is there an online Back-up/Restore facility?
Yes. Notebooks supports back-up/restore with Google Drive/Dropbox.
How to confirm Google Drive backup?
Notebooks stores its data in a private folder (appdata) at Google Drive. You will not be having access to it.
Only the application which has stored data in it can access it. This is the special folder provided by Google to store the data safely.
Though you don't have access to it in the Google Drive you can verify the size of the data stored.
Click on Settings drop down in the Google Drive and choose Manage Apps .
In the manage-apps section you will see the Notebooks/NotebooksPro app with the size of the of the data stored in it.
How to confirm Dropbox backup?
Log-in to Dropbox.
Look for the folder 'Apps'
Inside Apps folder, you will find Notebooks/NotebooksPro folder
Inside Notebooks/NotebooksPro folder, your data will be stored
NOTE: Modifying these files would lead to improper restore.
Can I Back-up/Restore to SDCard?
Yes.
How to remove the password?
Go to Password option available at the menu.I have set the password but Notebooks does not ask for password on launching the app. Why?
Make sure you quit the application by pressing the BACK button on the device instead of HOME button.
In android on pressing HOME applications goes
to background and comes foreground on launching again as-is.
Can I sort the Notebooks in the shelf?
Yes. The sorting option is available at the Menu of the Notebooks shelf screen.
Is Text-To-Speech supported by Notebooks?
Yes. The Speaker icon in the page will read-out the contents for you.Is there a Read-Only mode in the Notebooks?
Yes. The Pencil icon (second icon from left in the notebook page) is for switching b/w the read/write mode.
Tap on it to toggle b/w the modes.
Can I change the Font Size in the Notebooks?
Yes.
Can I set different fonts to Notebooks? If yes, How?

Can I change the theme of the pages in the Notebooks?

Can I have different themes/fonts for the different pages in the same Notebook?
No. Fonts/Themes will be applied to the whole Notebook.
Can I insert a new page?
No. You can add more pages if you want.
What is the different between Notebooks Free and Notebooks Pro version?
In terms of features both are one and the same. Notebooks Pro is the version without ads.
I forgot my password. How to recover my data?
You need to backup data to local storage and then clear the app data/cache and then restore your notebooks.
Launch Notebooks and goto Backup/Restore from menu.
Select backup.
Select the option to Local Storage.
Now goto device Settings.
Look for Applications/Manage Applications and select it.
You will see the list of Applications installed on the device.
Look for Notebooks and select it.
You will see Clear Cache and Clear Data option.
Clear the cache and data
Now, come back and launch Notebooks, tap on menu and select Backup/Restore.
In Backup/Restore screen now select Restore and Restore from the Local Storage.
